There is a blog hop going on this week called Christmas in July. With the record-breaking temperatures across most of the US, I thought I would check this hop out! I have participated in a few blog hops in the past year. It is a great way to find new blogs and check out new products. If you have never seen a blog hop, here’s how they work. A group of bloggers unite around a common theme and then each blogger finds products, sponsors or companies and sets up a giveaway on their site for the prizes. The benefit to the blogger is that they get exposure, new readers and new followers. The companies get product exposure and great PR. I have actually found several great blogs by checking out a few blog hops. There is a whole world of mommy bloggers, deal blogs, food blogs, book blogs and the list goes on.
